In the Fall of 2024 (my junior year), I created a group that designs & programs a light show for the Lawrenceville Schools’s Fall and Spring Dance Series. My goal in creating this group was to give students a space to learn and practice their theatrical design skills. When we first started, our group was 5 people, but, as of Fall 2025, we have grown to be 10 students, ranging from Freshmen to Seniors.

Through this group, I am working 1-on-1 with students to teach them design principles as well as lighting programming, basic rigging, and other technical production skills. LTD is currently the only Lawrenceville extracurricular where any student, no matter prior experience, can practice lighting design.

Our Fall 2024 piece was not amazing due to it being our first one, but below is our piece from the Spring of 2025. We are currently working on the next piece for the 2025 Fall Dance Series, which will be in the style of 1980’s rock.
