NYU Summer Program
NYU Tisch, July 2025
I spent a month at the NYU Tisch Production & Design Summer program, taking classes in set design, sound design, costume design, lighting design, stage management, production management, drawing, and hand drafting.
I first took reference photos from around NYC of brick walls

Then, I took a plastic common brick sheet and applied some modeling paste to it to roughen the texture
Next, I did a couple rough layers of paint, always keeping my brush light so as to preserve the texture of the material.
Finally, I added details. I thickened the grout lines and added color variations on some of the bricks
